Laurie Brown, Health Care Coach

Laurie Brown has over two decades of experience as a trainer, coach, facilitator, and speaker, helping her audience improve their communication skills. In that time she has earned a reputation as a highly engaging, fun and effective professional, whose work gets results for her clients. 

She has worked in health care for over a decade, her clients include many physician offices as well as providing training for Baylor College of Medicine where she received this testimonial:

Laurie has been an independent consultant, working globally with clients as varied as the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Ford Motor company to small family owned businesses. During her career she designed and delivered thousands of engaging and effective  programs. A sample of those include: Technical Presentation Skills for engineers and other technical people at many engineering companies including Lockheed Martin, Denso, Tyler Technologies. Laurie created a dynamic customer service program for the government of the Kindgdom of Bahrain as well customer service programs for Libraries across the US. Laurie also designed and delivered presentation skills and facilitation skills training to Simon Kucher, BMW, JD Power, as well as the Social Security Administration.

Laurie has delivered Leadership programs to Bayer and Covestro, Presentation Skills and Relationship Building to Accenture, KPMG, GE, IBM, Beam International and Sales Training to Visteon, EFI and GM among many others.

A key asset that Laurie brings to her work is her range and depth of experience. She has an international clientele, having worked on four continents and numerous countries including the UK, Panama, Bahrain, Japan, Mexico, Australia and Thailand, and throughout the United States. Laurie has worked with culturally diverse audiences at all corporate levels. 

Laurie earned her CSP (Certified Speaking Professional), the speaking profession’s highest earned international measure of professional platform competence.

She is also certified as a Neuroleadership Results Coach.

Laurie has written two books on Communication, The Greet Your Customer Manual, and The Teleprompter Manual. Laurie also authored two highly regarded white papers on technical presentation skills.
